And because I had a head’s up on the mini-kitchen, we decided to gift Rell about a million pieces of fake, plastic food. Sorry, LeAnn. I know I could have gotten her the ten-piece wooden fruit set. But the phony pizza, hot dogs and Hamburger Helper boxes were screaming my name. And I think the bogus food was a hit - Well, at least until the kiddos realized that it tasted like plastic.
Oh, and the Bound family also recently acquired a golden-doodle puppy. And it was all I could do not to put it in my mouth and take him home with me. Trust me, I tried. I had both his paws in my cheeks, but then Miss Rell and her big brother Jack intervened.
So it was a wonderful afternoon, and I was so happy that we could help celebrate Rell’s second birthday. And of course Taylor was thrilled to play with her friend’s new toys, put on a party hat and eat cupcakes.

Little kiddie birthday parties are so fun- getting all that cuteness in one room.
Way to go on the 100 piece set. I have a 3 drawer cubby- at first I put all of the food in one drawer, the plates, silverware, etc in another and approns, chefs hats, pot holders in another. After a couple '100 piece sets' everything gets thrown in together along with some Happy Meal toys, books and whatever else is on the floor. I'm getting better at letting some things go.
Anyways...love the little kitchen Miss Rell received- adorable!
I have to admit, I'm a little jealous of Rell's kitchen.
Looks like fun! I tried organizing Addison's kitchen similar to Steph when she got one, now everything is everywhere, but she still manages to cook up some mean plastic eggs.
