Thumb sucker

Yesterday afternoon I had my 18-week ultrasound for Baby Amys and am delighted to report that our baby is absolutely perfect. The spine, organs, limbs and every other teeny-tiny bit and part is developing wonderfully and we’re right on schedule for it’s April arrival.

And because I’ve been starting to feel it’s little kicks and punches in the past few days, I was so pumped to be able to watch the little bean in action and see the feet that have been poking me. We even caught a glimpse of Baby sucking it’s thumb:

Not the clearest picture, but the torso is on the left and you can see the profile of the head on the right, and above it is the arm and you can barely see the hand reaching to the mouth. Ah, my healthy little thumb sucker. Better start saving for braces.

Good for you, Brooke. Nothing like a weight off your shoulders knowing that your baby is developing well. Enjoy eating your way through Thanksgiving!
